The groomer was a very rude person. My Mother In Law passed and I took in her 3lb Shorkie. I needed to get her groomed so I could take her to her Mommy's funeral. I called Petco and set up an appointment for 10am. The lady said to get there between 8 and 9 so I got there at 8:30. The groomer preceded to tell me that in no way I was told that and my appointment was at 8. She argued with me then told me she could not see us for another 3 weeks. I left really upset I was talked in such a manner. I am NEVER stepping in Petco again and will tell everyone how rude their employees are. The mistake was the person who took the appointment. She could have at least been compassionate. Losing a family member is hard enough without dealing with rude people like that groomer at Petco. I found a WAY better groomer in Bessemer. They now have my business....

Great grooming salon! I've been taking my Maltese there since she was old enough to get a hair cut and she loves it. The manager, Tara, is very professional, loving to the pups, kind and willing to listen to your needs as well as fulfill them. I have referred several friends and neighbors who now take their pets there and love it too!
