Metal Trades specializes in large steel and sheet metal fabrication as well as marine repair. The company is a prime ship repair contractor for the United States Government and holds a Master Ship Repair Agreement with the United States Army and Navy. It also offers design, modification, fitting/retro-fitting and erection/assembly services as well as manufacturing and refurbishment machining. The 18,000 square foot machine shop is located at its Yonges Island division just 20 miles south of Charleston, S.C. There are more than 30 machines capable of a full range of custom machining, equipment manufacturing and repair. With 10 tons of overhead lifting capacity, moving products from the production floor onto transportation vehicles is done with ease.
