In the late 1800's, a company named Holden Milling & Elevator opened in Holden, Missouri. They purchased wheat, and milled it into flour. In 1955, a member of the Heiman family purchased the elevator business. Since 1975, Jerome and Sue Heiman have continued the family-owned business. They expanded from just milling flour to making bagged livestock feed and custom livestock feed mixes. In 1981 a True Value hardware store was acquired, and the company became the True Value Hardware & Farm Supply Store. Diane and Mark Klossen, daughter and son-in-law of the Heiman family, joined the business in 1985. Seeing a need in Holden, the Heiman's expanded again by adding a full-service lumber yard to the company holdings. In addition to our excellent True Value hardware store and the Heiman's feed store, we also operate a full-service lumber yard. We offer a full selection of quality lumber and building materials at competitive prices. If you need something, we probably have it.

They stayed open late so i could get a plumbing part, so i didn't have to go all weekend without water. I shop here as much as possible. Support local and they are there when you need them.
