To many bad cops not enough good. We need better cops not more.! Officers who know that their job is to protect good people not turn them against the police and make them afraid!

. last July I called the police because me and my wife were having a dispute and I wanted to take a few things before I left because she was claiming she was going to destroy my property. Calling the police to help me was a big mistake all they did was complain I was taking to long to get my belongings while being rude and disrespectful. They ended up telling me they where leaving because I was taking to long which I advised them I was going as quick as I could and if I left some items my wife claimed she was going to destroy them which they didn't care. After they left my wife called the police on me saying I pushed her and the police come back with an additional six other police officers to intimidate and threaten me which by the way if I and six other people went to someone's house to threaten and intimidate them it would be considered mob action. The one younger police officer which was very rude told me I was going to jail because the police were called back again not because I broke the law but because he wanted to abuse his authority and threaten me. Thank God the other older officer had enough sense to check her story out and find out it wasn't true and I didn't get arrested. Police that want to abuse there authority and threaten and intimidate people should go get a real job changing tires or picking peaches. but of course what the police do is always legal. if I was to do it, it wouldn't be ! my advice to anyone going to call the Hobart police is don't unless you want to get threatened and intimidated by 6 people with guns with the authority to use them for any reason with no conaquinces for there actions

I think that the Hobart police are the reason that the public is not in good graces with the police. They will harass you and ask you to move out of town if you do not like it.

i think the hobart pd does an excellent job.they are very hard working individuals and deserve so much more credit than they are given thank you hobart police dept.
