Founded in 1956, The Lane School is a part of Community Consolidated School District 181, which is headquartered in Westmont, Ill. The school provides general academic programs to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers a range of student activities that includes art, music and physical education. It provides advanced education classes for gifted and talented students. The Lane School operates a band, orchestra and student council.
