DO NOT use this lab!! I took my 6 year old here and the man who was to take her blood was completely incompetent! For starters, half their lights were not working, so he was attempting the process in somewhat darkness. Right at this point I should have left, but sadly I did not. One of the tests ordered was for celiac. He insisted that this test was to take a piece of tissue from her arm and that I would have to go to the hospital for that one. Huh?!?! It clearly stated it was a blood test on the form. He and his partner were terribly confused. For the other tests ordered, He then proceeded to dig around in both arms for a vein and didn’t end up with even a drop of blood. I understand at times not being able to find a vein, but why on earth would you start digging around in a 6 year old in hopes that one will turn up?! Completely unexceptable! I now have a traumatized 6 year old that has to go through this whole process again once I find a new lab my insurance takes. Disgusting.
