I could not find anyone to take care of a serious bee problem that was threatening my tenants and their young children. I almost did not call this company because of a bad review but I needed someone and the owner and his wife took care of my problem immediately and very professionally. The person that reviewed this company said that they sprayed and they did not spray they removed the hive and the queen bee so the swarm would not return. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I told him I wanted to remove the bees but not kill them- that was very important to me as I have been caring for these bees a few years - they have never stung me and I know our Island needs healthy bees- I wanted to place them in boxes and start hives- he told me that is what he would do. So he tore open my wall -bad job- after he loaded up buckets with the honey and boxes with the bee cones he then sprayed poison all over the bees. After he was done- he put one of the boxes of bees into his truck and when I noticed bees coming out of that box he covered it with wood so that I wouldn't notice - I should have asked him why he was taking a box of bees- but I guess it was hard to believe he would just steal like that-- I didn' t want to accuse him - then after he left I discovered he also took a big 5 gallon bucket of honey- it was then I that I realized he was dishonest - - He was in such a hurry to leave that he forgot to seal the holes which the bees got in - so now my house is full of upset bees-- when I called him up to ask about the holes he said to me that I should go put a wet towel on my hand and some how plug it up - (with a thousand angry bees that just got their home rudely destroyed. He Finally came and sprayed foam and more poison all over the front of my house-and all over the bees- it looks awful- You know I could go on and on about this man but I just want to forget about all this - its one of the worst days of my life- I feel so bad -so unfortunate, so ripped off - and i don't know if any of the bees that survived his toucher treatment are going to live- as there is now no queen --did he take her too? I am pretty sure he took the queen- he is the owner of this company mauna kea - and he has been doing this for 25 years-- I am sure he was in a rush to leave with my box of bees -probably queen and most of the honey- but why?? why did he need to take my bees that I have been protecting for so many years! Why are some people so greedy? he kindly returned the 5 gallon bucket of honey-- but with just a very small amount at the bottom- hey mr mauna kea honey owner-- don't you know we saw how much was in there? what is wrong with your own honey that you have to steal someone else's-- its the principle here- so I hope this review helps someone out there- find an honest bee keeper- some one who respects bees and someone who respects people -- my trusting days are coming to a close.... and mr. mauna kea- shame on you!
