This was my doctor's office for 2 -3 years. I never felt comfortable going in because the staff is SO incredibly rude but I liked my doctor and I didn't get sick that often so I kept going. (big mistake)



Back in late spring, they sent me a bill for over $300 that I knew was incorrect and when I would call their billing office I would get berated by the woman there and treated like garbage. She wouldn't listen to me, totally cut me off and told me to pay it or she'd send me to collections, which she did.



When the collections agency started calling and harassing me, it took a while but I finally forced them to send me a complete bill, one that I was unable to obtain from Tuality. I then called the collection agency (METRO) and told them it was a mistake. They told me to pay it or they'd sue me, which they did.



I called my insurance company and learned that Tuality had NEVER billed my insurance confirming what I already knew. When I called METRO to tell them this, they said "They have no legal obligation to bill your insurance", which is right, but only if you are completely unethical. Why wouldn't you bill your patients insurance??? And by the way, the complete bill that METRO sent me themselves, directly from Tuality showed fake payments received from my insurance company. So they were being fraudulent, pretending to have received payments that they never received and trying to get me to pay the 'remainder". ;-(



We had to pay a $75 filing fee to fight them in court. I know my rights as a consumer and I know how collection agencies work as a previous employer of mine had one on site, therefore I know that 80% of the time they know they are wrong but will file against you expecting you to not show up in court or not be able to afford the filing fee and then they get an automatic judgement. So we filed against them, and guess what? IT WAS COMPLETELY DISMISSED BY THE JUDGE. We won. We owe nothing.



Please be careful. There are plenty of great doctors out there, with updated equipment that works and friendly staff. This place has none of those things, and on top of it all, they are unethical and shady. Good luck.
