Provided by YP.comI had an horrible experience. I called the shop on Sunday at 5:34pm. I spoke with a man, I told him that i found their ad in the YP and I needed a repair followed by my first question was "How long are you open today?". He responded, "What do you need?" I went on to explain that my refrigerator is not keeping my food cold. He asked me if i was looking for a part. I said that I don't know what type of service they offer. He replied that they could send a technician out. I then asked, "Well how long are you guys opened today?" He responded, "Well we can get a tech out today for you. We are 24 hours. This is all that we do."
I told him that I didn't know that because i had just found their business in the YP and I'm unfamiliar with how their business operates. He told me that they can send a tech out to price the issue. I asked, "is there a charge for the technician?" He responded that the tech will deduct the charge from the total. I asked "how much is the charge?" I said, "It depends on the service that is needed." I asked, "how much does my type of repair to usually cost ?" I said that there is no way for him to know that. I chuckled awkwardly and replied, "Well like a ballpark estimate because this is the first time ive had this issue and I don't know if it will be 50-200 dollars or 200-1000 dollars" He responded, "Thats why I said we can send a tech out to price it. How would you expect me to know that? " I replied, " Because you guys do this business everyday and I have no idea what this kind of thing cost. I just want to get a bit of a better understanding before I sign up for a service." He says, "Well thats not how it works here."
So at this point I tell him that i really want a service performed but he is being rude when i'm only trying to get more information. The call disintegrated from there....I ended up telling him that he lost out on a customer because he was insistently rude.
It was a miscommunication issue and a simple one at that. I really wanted to get my fridge fixed....they were the first result on my search and they are in the same neighborhood. Despite that I could not support a business that has zero desire to understand their customers needs before asking for their money
