Over the past two years, my daughter has been taken ballet lessons in one of the schools located in the Highland Park
I will not name this school because the owners are very sensitive to any criticism and to any comparison
And all this time we heard a lot of negative conversations about the Academy of Russian Ballet
This summer, as well as before, we were looking for summer ballet classes for my daughter and decided to try the Academy
The results have exceeded all my expectations. Needless to say that after summer classes we signed up with Academy and didn't regret it
This is not one of many recreational dance studios with Jazz-Ballet-Hip-Hop curriculum with students participating in a local community production of The Nutcracker
A teacher who can easily find and explain mistakes, and if necessary, personally show how elements should be done - that you won't see in many other schools

First time we saw children taking classes at Academy of Russian Ballet at their concert
That concert has made such a huge impression on my 5 year old daughter, that she only talked about ballet. Finally I brought Emily there. That was one of my best decisions. Emily changed. I've never seen her so happy. She might forget about something else, but she never miss a day when she has a ballet class.

For the last seven years every summer we come from Arizona to Deerfield to my parents with my two daughters - Lisa and Abbie. And every summer they were taking ballet classes in a few local dance studios It was OK until last year we came to Academy of Russian Ballet in Highland Park. After ten weeks of taking ballet classes the difference was so obvious that even I who was very far from the ballet could see the change that happened to my children. They grew more than I thought possible. It was a great summer program and my girls loved every minute of their classes. This year we came to Academy of Russian Ballet again - Stella is an amazing teacher and her classes are challenging, and at the same time enjoyable. Everybody in this school are very friendly, and ready to help
I highly recommend this ballet school to those who truly love world of ballet
