Two years ago when I started going to Haller’s I was told because my taxes are simple it would be about $50. I asked for a receipt but was told I could not get one until my taxes were completed.

To make a long story short, I asked for a receit a dozen times, but never got one. I went to them again to do my taxes this year, but said I would not sign anything until I had a receipt in my hand: $500! For that price I would have done them myself. She just kept saying that was a discount and I am lucky she didn’t charge more. They are careful to not give you anything in writing about their prices.
