Love their service, never missed, always prompt and very nice drivers. I never had a problem in 5 years. New supervisors, some new drivers , are highly recommended. They always answer calls and call back in a timely manner. Wasy to with with and clear cut.

Not even a customer! Damage to yard while turning large truck around in my drive.
You can call and leave messages but nothing is done. I went to the office and nicely explained the damages (deep wheel ruts as driver repeatedly backed and drove forward). Told them I wanted the ruts filled in; wouldn't take much. Supervisor promised to visit my address; no show or contact made! Nothing has been done. I would love to give a negative rating. Damages NOT MY FAULT !!!!!

Shop around! Republic has the highest rates and worst customer service. When you cancel your service, they will charge you $25 removal fee PLUS the environmental and fuel charge (which they WILL NOT disclose). Environmental fee to pick up an empty trash can??? I should have switched service much, much sooner as I was paying double than the new service.

I live in Mountain View, just outside of Hickory, my thoughts of my service has been pretty up to a point. You see, I came here from Colorado 2002, to help take care of my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimers. The Address is 5383 Stonewood Dr. Hickory, NC 28602. I eventually took over the house when my mother passed away in 2004. Like I said earlier, the service had been great up to a point. That was when I came home after work on trash day, and seen on of my two trash cans with the wheels, busted off, I was kind of ticked off, from this and I don't even think the trash guys realized what they did. Now, about three months ago my green GDS plastic bottle recycle bin, was trashed and I had to resort to just regular small plastic containers, to pick up my bottles. Now when I put my bottles out, they won't even pick them up, even when they were the ones that broke my containers.....Very Unprofessional, and no Customer Support...
