In my humble opinion, James River Orthodontics sets a pretty high bar for other practices in Richmond. The open, unique office setting, the dedication to comfort, and the exemplary staff contribute to my pleasure in keeping appointments. Also,the business staff worked with me on developing a plan and payment schedule that allowed me to get the dental work I needed

Hi my name is Katrina Moore. My first visit at the James River Orthodontics was phenomenal. I was greeted at the door by Ms. Kristen. Kristen showed me around and was very polite. She made a difference and we all know that first impression is everything. I will return back this month for my invisalign which I'm very excited about. Thank you James River Orthodontics!!!

The staff at JRO are the BEST! I think Kristen said it best "It all starts with Dr. Scarborough and trickles down". Kind hearts always find kind hearts.I travel all the way from Nottoway County because the services is that spectacular.

This is the best orthodontist office ever! Starbucks, frozen yogurt, iPad's, a friendly staff, and a superb orthodontist. Where can you go wrong? We've loved coming in for treatment for our daughter for the past year and a half, and we are so thankful for the superb work they do.

We were referred to James River Orthodontist by a good friend and have definitely not been disappointed. They are always friendly and professional. We feel comfortable and cared for every visit.

Always the best service! Lauren, Saruah, Lynn, you name it -- we are so well taken care of and happy to be there. I have never had kids excited to have an orthodontist appointment before. We look forward to every appointment. I always feel like everything is explained well and that we are in the best hands! My kids are actually sad to get their braces off because it means less visits.

I can't say enough about JRO. They truly care about their patients and the Richmond community. I have to say that they make it FUN. The office is gorgeous and the location could not be better.

The best thing I've ever done for myself was go to JRO. I can't wait to see the end result. The kids are next.

The James River Orthodontics team was eager as always to help me stay on track with my treatment, regardless of circumstances. I fell behind schedule and not once did the team make me feel as though I'd done something wrong, and they were more than willing to work with me in case I needed to stop treatment for a while. They are always encouraging, warm, and welcoming, and I think they are succeeding at their goal of being the best Orthodontics team in the area. Every experience we have had with Dr. Scarborough and JRO has been wonderful. My son just got his braces this past week. Everyone helping him was so friendly, and he hasn't experienced any pain like I thought he would. Dr. Scarborough even called to check up on my son the day after his braces were put on. Of course, my son's favorite part of the office experience is the Minecraft tablet station while you're waiting for your appointment and the frozen ice cream station on the way out.

JRO is one of the most awesome place to get dental services. The staff is great, always smiling, the atmosphere is so relaxing with the Koi fish pond, and the Kuerig coffee area, JRO makes it easy and comfortable to be apart of their dental family, it's so awesome I have family members who goes there and they also love it. Thanks JRO.

As usual everyone was wonderful with Zoey at her last appointment. It was a real team effort and they put Zoey at ease during some anxious moments. I am always so pleased at how amazing the staff is - cheerful, helpful, comforting, and just genuinely interested in their patients!
