I have never had a worse experience than I had here. I am bleach blonde and came in to have my roots touched up. I was referred to Omar by my mother, who had seen him previously. I left with scabs on my head, hair falling out, the ends of my hair gummy and breaking, and the entire front of my hairline from ear to ear broke off- leaving me with thick 2 inch chunks around my face.

I set up an appointment with Heather, the owner, who went on to tell me that this was normal (no, it's not- I've had this hair color for 7 years and it's never happened). She blamed me for the damage for wearing my hair up or wearing a hat. Yeah, I'm forced to wear it like this because of all the damage that has been caused to my hair. Additionally, she said I made it worse by conditioning my hair and that it was bad for it.

Our conversation got pretty heated and she was literally raising her voice at me. Not once did she take responsibility or even apologize. She kept saying she wanted to "get to the bottom of this" as if I were lying about something.

Funny enough, she accused me of just being "here for the money". She also said I wasn't genuine. She refused to grasp my wanting a refund, because she wouldn't even acknowledge that this poor hair job was inappropriate and inexcusable.

Finally she pulled Omar aside who took no responsibility for the outcome, and didn't apologize for literally ruining the front part of my hair.

After 20 minutes of arguing (on the floor- she didn't even have the decency to make this a private conversation), she finally agreed to refund my money, but sill repeating that it was basically my fault.

My mom, who referred me, had to stop coming to this salon because her hair was so damaged that it was practically standing up straight (she has a shorter cut). She went to another salon afterwards and they said there was nothing that could be done to her hair as it was so damaged. She saw a master stylist who said she had no idea why this was done.
