I was having a problem with my steering and went to the dealership. They couldn't pinpoint the problem. Curtis was able to find the problem and fix it in a timely manner. It didn't cost a lot. I will definitely come back!

Tri star automotive is tough to find,

but worth the search. Curtis (owner) helped push my S 10 Blazer all around. He took the time to explain exactly what happened and what it took to fix it. Not only is he a master mechanic, he has an awesome personality. I paid to have my truck fixed and for good conversion. Curtis is a Toyota Master Technician (as well as Lexus and Scion) who knows his craft like no other. He is honest, tells you what you need and don't need. He is very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a Toyota Technician (he may also work on others as well) look no further. Great guy.

My son lives in Las Vegas. I live in Los Angeles. I was lucky to find this garage where I sent my son to fix some problem he had on his Nissan Maxima. First of all, the mechanics, are very knowledgeable, very honest, true professional, but what I like the most about them is that they treat my son like their own. I highly recommend them to anyone. I know few things about mechanics. I own a garage in Los Angeles for 25 years so I know the difference between mechanics and very good mechanics.

I had an A/C problem. After taking it to 5 places for quotes (if 2-3 say it needs the same thing, that's what I go with, & best price) These guys were the only ones that truly diagnose my car (took 40 minutes at no charge), were completely accurate in what it needed, spent extra time to explain, didn't gouge me on parts, expedited getting me in, and were about 25-30% below the going price! I have had other work done with them since, and Curtis, the owner has a true conscious to be fair and even generous with his time and work. I know my car is well maintained, & trust what he says (hard to find). If you want dealership accountability and results at a fraction of their price, I really know I can trust them to get it done right and I don't even have to shop around for prices anymore. Only thing, it is a no frills place, so if you're looking for someone to cater to you with a cappuccino & comfy lounge, guess that's what you pay the dealer for. Try them out, they diagnose for free!

After 2 different mechanics told me I needed a new engine, these guys diagnosed the problem and fixed my car for a fraction of the cost. I have been bringing my car to them ever since, and I now have a Ford with over 170,000 miles and it runs great! I highly recommend!

I brought my truck to TRISTAR for an EVAP problem. The mechanic took the time to diagnose a suspected bad computer but didn’t just stick in a part before FULLY diagnosing the problem to the extent of ensuring the wiring wasn’t causing a sensor failure. After completing all other diagnostics, it was found that the computer was bad. I really appreciate the time and skill he put into the repair. Other mechanics I spoke with about this problem were too quick with random things to replace which didn’t include the computer. Thank You TRISTAR

I took my car to this idiot and not only did he charge me double what we agreed on he threatened to charge me $35.00 a day if i did not pick it up that day. he was belligerent and rude. when i finally got my car back, the alarm was going off and would not turn off. when i asked him to return my car in the condition it was received. he lied to me and told me the car came in that way.

i been to many autos shops before,but I was lucky to find this shop after other shops had given outrageous estimates for the work they claimed needed to be done on my vehicle.Nice to know i wasn't taken advantage of.Only Thing bit of a drive from my home,but i wouldn't go anywhere else!

I've been robbed by several shops across the valley for the last 5 years...until I found these guys. They have done a lot of work on my Lexus and Honda (Brakes, CV Boots, Timing Belt, Waterpump, etc) and saved me thousands of dollars. Curt and Jim are very friendly, honest, and back up their work. Want dealership quality work but not stealership prices? Go to these guys. They are Master Certified Toyota technicians with decades of experience.

I've been in Vegas for 5 years and had nothing but horrible experiences with mechanics...until I found these guys. Curt and Jim are Master Toyota technicians who are not only very knowledgeable but honest and straight forward. Why go to the stealerships when you get go here? I will never go to a Honda or Lexus dealer again.
