greedy bastards

I am a senior on medicare and when examined told me prescription had barely changed. I stopped in a few days later and asked for a written prescription. I was told it was $50 to have a written prescription. What difference? All they had to do was print it. GREEDY BAS****s

Worst experience ever !

Had cataract surgery in both eyes and about 6 weeks later needed emergency surgery for a detached retina and retina tears in the other. I had several follow ups after the surgerys and no one ever saw the detachment until I went back for the 4 th time and complained about shadows and flashes. The wait time was always long and the techs spent more time than the dr at the first couple of appointment. My retinas were never checked before I had the cataract surgery and since I have found out that complications can occur after cataract surgery. Go to Shepherd Eye they check your retinas before ever doing cataract surgery. I feel it was to coincidenlal and that I probably already had retina tears that were not detected before they decided to the surgery but it was never discussed by the Dr or the techs . Don't use them!!!

Operator and Optical @ Pecos/Windmill

I saw Dr. Orton on 01/11 but no one ordered my trial pair of contact lenses and he went on vacation, no one in optical knew anything, my prescriptions weren't on file and I paid cash. Even after he came back no one ordered the lenses until last week and when I did receive the lenses the Manager named Helen tore apart one prescription compatible ( 3 pack) and gave me one. It was prescribed for me and I had to request a solution sample (Alcon) and she states," we don't usually give these away. You are suppose to purchase the solution." And in a huff she gave me one sample solution. What optical office doesn't give solution sample to patients along with new contacts; trial or purchase? And the operator act as if you are interrupting her. She asked me what department I want to be directed with an attitude. I asked to speak to Dr Orton and she said, "He is busy with patients! What do you want? Is this an emergency? I will tell everyone I know about this and I will NEVER return here!!!

DRSEan Palacios
