In 1979, Andrew Lessman founded what was to become Pro-Caps Laboratories. Lessman first became interested in health science after conducting a junior high science project on whether vitamins could improve the health of his pet mice. With the founding of Pro-Caps, Lessman created one of the only manufacturing processes to produce pure, additive-free vitamins. Pro-Caps sells a full-line of vitamins, including beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E.
