I have been going to Dr. Dougas Orton for many years. He is great!!!
No problems ever with staff or appointments. I ❤️ Nevada Eye!!!

My whole life I've worn glasses and for years Nevada Eye Physicians has kept me up to date with the style and fashion trends but most importantly, my vision. I've gone back & forth about having refractive surgery and I'm sure like most patients fear of the unknown was holding me back. I decided to book an appointment with Dr. Surjeet Singh for a LASIK consultation. It was the best decision I've made about my eyes thus far!!
Dr. Singh and his staff were very knowledgeable and answered every single question I had. Dr. Singh's confidence spilled over to me and I was no longer afraid. Today is the first day after having surgery. I couldn't be more happier with the results!! I'm walking around my house looking at everything as if it were the first time I'm seeing it! It's such an amazing feeling to be able to see without glasses or contacts!!
If anyone has ever thought or is thinking of having refractive surgery I urge you to book a consult with Dr. Singh. You've got nothing to lose but the glasses on your face! Thank you Dr. Singh and the Staff at Nevada Eye Physicians! My whole refractive surgery experience from beginning to end was phenomenal, keep up the great work!

I am a senior on medicare and when examined told me prescription had barely changed. I stopped in a few days later and asked for a written prescription. I was told it was $50 to have a written prescription. What difference? All they had to do was print it. GREEDY BAS****s

I first went to Dr. Singh 3 years ago for my cataract surgery. I had been suffering from poor vision for months before that but my eye doctors simply gave me new glasses that didn't work. Well, I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Singh who immediately diagnosed me with cataracts. He said my vision problems were related to cataracts in both eyes. He thoroughly explained my options and after which I decided to have the surgery and that's the best decision I ever made in my life. Thanks to Dr. Singh and staff, I could see 20/20 the next day WITHOUT glasses. I lived my whole life wearing glasses and I finally felt free. He was thorough and kind to me at every appointment.

I recently went back to Dr. Singh because my vision got hazy again. As expected, Dr. Singh had an answer and a fix. He did YAG Laser surgery (which took him 30 seconds) and it made me see 20/20 again.

His bedside manner is amazing every time. I've seen him more than 10 times. Go see him if you have any eye problems.

This was one of the WORST appointments we have had with medical staff and Drs! SURJEET SINGH, M.D. walked into our room without briefing himself on the chart and thought my husband was the patient. He seemed very irritated be squeezed into his schedule, for a emergency trauma, and showed it with lack of adult and child bedside manner. He was abrupt, rude and careless of our concerns for our 3.5yr old sons eye trauma. He was impatient that a toddler would not "cooperate or sit still" during his exam and proceeded to tell us the worst info about him losing his vision completely as well as surgery. He also felt it relevant to voluntarily point out he "is going on vacation and can't help us." Then referred us to a Peds Dr for the following day, not same day for bleeding & blind eye trauma in a child! That said, we had a Peds follow-up within 2hrs after I personally called and requested it and were told the opposite after one of the most enjoyable exams that our 3.5yr old cooperated with! I will NEVER recommend this Dr or clinic and will be sure our experience is heard & read EVERYWHERE!

I was just reading the reviews and some of them are so very old! Anyone that has been to any of the Nevada Eye & Ear locations in this century will know they have some of best docs and caring staff! Perhaps if you try a Smile, you might get one back! Docs Mom 5/14/2015

Had cataract surgery in both eyes and about 6 weeks later needed emergency surgery for a detached retina and retina tears in the other. I had several follow ups after the surgerys and no one ever saw the detachment until I went back for the 4 th time and complained about shadows and flashes. The wait time was always long and the techs spent more time than the dr at the first couple of appointment. My retinas were never checked before I had the cataract surgery and since I have found out that complications can occur after cataract surgery. Go to Shepherd Eye they check your retinas before ever doing cataract surgery. I feel it was to coincidenlal and that I probably already had retina tears that were not detected before they decided to the surgery but it was never discussed by the Dr or the techs . Don't use them!!!

Some of the staff are annoying and inefficient. Had to wait too long before I was seen, one of the tech who saw me was unfriendly. I was seen in the morning, they are to call in my prescription to my pharmacy. It has been pass 2pm, I have checked with my pharmacy and they are yet to call. I am supposed to use my prescribed eye drop four times a day after my minor laser surgery. This is real poor patient care.

This was my 4th visit to this clinic. I must add that not all of the staff are that bad, the reception staff is good, some of the tech are good. A few should not provide patient care.

Eye care generous rating at best. Continual turnover of optomologists. Appointments are overbooked, creating extended waits. Go elsewhere.

Even after he came back no one ordered the lenses until last week and when I did receive the lenses the Manager named Helen tore apart one prescription compatible ( 3 pack) and gave me one. It was prescribed for me and I had to request a solution sample (Alcon) and she states," we don't usually give these away. You are suppose to purchase the solution." And in a huff she gave me one sample solution. What optical office doesn't give solution sample to patients along with new contacts; trial or purchase? And the operator act as if you are interrupting her. She asked me what department I want to be directed with an attitude. I asked to speak to Dr Orton and she said, "He is busy with patients! What do you want? Is this an emergency? I will tell everyone I know about this and I will NEVER return here!!!

My husband has suffered from Positional Vertigo for years and many doctors have been unable to pinpoint a diagnosis or cause. After many expensive tests including MRI's and years of suffering . Dr Palacios correctly diagnosed and treated him in under 1 hour.He had his 24 comfortable hours in many years. Just amazing.
