Ok, If your mom gives you a coin collection that used to be your now ex step dad's, is it ok to sell it? Well, I thought so. And I got 850 for too. I should have taken this place's first offer and saved my self the day of driving around. I've never been more frustrated with Las Vegas traffic than the day I hocked the collection, and had to go back to the first guy (this guy) all the way across town.

I was told to visit three places before I sold some old jewelry. This place offered by far the most money especially for some gold jewelry (necklace and bracelet). I would recommend that you visit Las Vegas Jewelry and Coin before you sell your jewelry anywhere else.

I wasn't given a half attempt of an appraisal and basically that all my item was worth was the gold that it was made of. Even if that were true the manner at which I was treated was lower than nothing as if I was a waste of this ladies time. No wonder the place was empty

This place is for the birds. No prices on items for sale. Their offer on Sterling Silver .925 fine amounts to $4 per ounce. They only want to steal it from you instead of a legitimate offer. Staff is slow to respond even though store empty. Security guard sits glaring at you while in their shop. Take your business elsewhere!

Every other aspect of my failed engagement was difficult except for when I looked to get back as much as possible for the rings that I purchased. I had originally gone to a jewelry wholesaler to buy the rings but when I brought them back 60 days later they offered me only 25% of the original cost. I solicited the opinions of several other local jewelry stores for my best chance of unloading these very expensive (and painful) memories of love gone wrong and insanely enough, 3 out of four told me I should either keep them for the "next best thing" or... consider seeing this guy John at Las Vegas Jewelry in Henderson. Well it was worth the 10 minute drive because I not only got nearly twice what the wholesaler offered me, but I was opened up to the world of gold redemption all at the same time. I came back the very next day with a collection of coins (that was buried in my attic and collecting dust) my uncle gave me as a kid that turned out to be enough to cover my mortgage this month! Thanks John, your people are great!

After my mother died we began the process of donating and selling her old things. A friend of mine recommended that I take her old jewelry to three places to make sure I get the top price. Las Vegas Jewelry and Coin not only offered by far the best price, they were the best company I dealt with. At the other two places, the appraisers asked questions like, "how much do you want for this?" I truly didn't know the value of anything. It was refreshing not to get pressured. Las Vegas Jewelry and Coin simply told me what they were worth and why. These are my mother's old items so they had sentimental value to me. I appreciated the thoroughness and efforts to fully explain how much each item was worth. I walked out with a lot of money, but more importantly, I trusted the people I sold the items to.
