A friend of mine suggested that I contact Julie, after I received a notice from the IRS saying that I owed them money. The tax company that I used went out of business and my friend had been using Julie's services for the last 5 years and she was very happy with the service. Julie took a look at my information and showed me 2 mistakes that my previous tax person made. She corrected it and I did not owe anything to the IRS. Her fee was extremely reasonable. I recommend her and will be going to her for my taxes.

I can't believe it, I call 2 of the larger tax companies, one who wouldn't give me a quote and the other one who was going to charge me around $400!!! I went on craigslist and Julie answered the phone gave me a quote of $150. I went in asked her some additional questions, left my documents and picked up my return 2 days later. Not only that, she only charged me $140! She told me that she over quoted me. WOW! It's nice to know an honest tax preparer. Thank you, Mike

I found Julie from a Craigslist ad in Chicago area. I needed to have my 501C organization file the 990 form for 2013 as my fiscal year was 06/30. It was nice to know that she understood my situation, was able to complete the return properly and her fee was very reasonable. She’s got a new client!

This is in appreciation for all the hard work that Julie does for me and my business. I ordered QB about 2 years ago and it created more problems than solutions. Simply put, I had a bookkeeping nightmare. In talking with one of my clients, I shared with her my situation and she told me about her bookkeeper and the fabulous result that she had. Well, I picked up the phone, called and talked with Julie for about 20 minutes explaining my predicament. We set up an appointment, I took all of my bookkeeping papers and the rest is history. I went to one of the "Big" tax preparation companies and fell out of my seat when they quoted me over $235 to do my taxes. I then went online to Craigslist and saw an ad "Affordable Taxes, over 10 years experience". I called and talked with the owner, Julie who quoted me a price of $140. I went to her, not only did she do my taxes, but it was FUN!. She knows her stuff and she's got a new client. Call her if you need your taxes done.

I was referred to Julie to do my taxes from a friend who I work with and claimed that his tax preparer was "Great". Normally I wouldn't post anything about a business, but she is excellent. Not only did she do my taxes for this year, but she offered to take a look at my previous years taxes and was able to get me back more money. I'm extremely happy with the results!
