Brought my 6 year old, who had a black head which became infected and needed to be excised. The provider was not Dr. Woodson, however did a 3 second assessment and decided that: (1) her age was too young to treat; and (2) there was nothing they wanted to do considering they did not have a good idea of what was going on. In summary, for children avoid this dermatologist at all cost. They attempted to referral me to a dermatologist by doing an online search. This I could have done myself blindly. I expected established relationships with the community to referral to the appropriate specialist. Which in my daughters case, an infected pimple was not within their scope of practice.
