We ordered a delivery for Saturday. When it showed up they only had about half our order. They said that because we had rescheduled from the prior week (due to snow) that they weren't certain we were going to go through with the order. We had rented an excessive machine to move the rock in our driveway for that day specifically. They said they would bring us the rest on Monday and would comp the delivery fee. We asked if we could have additional rock sent because they would have to come back out anyway. They said ok, but then when they got to the house they charged us a second $159.00 delivery fee. They said that was because we added additional rock than was with the original order and refused to honor their original offer of a comped delivery. Due to this mistake in their part, we also had to order the machine to spread the rock for a second day, which was an additional few hundred dollars.

My suggestion to this company is to deliver what was promised to your customers and to make it up to them when you fall short.

My suggestion to perspective customers: A company that does not care about its' customers does not deserve your business.

Great service, competive prices, beat competitors by over $150.....refered my neibors and they are all just as happy as i am. Easy and simple process...completely satisfied.

the rock had plenty of sand in it, so if you're into sand then this is the company for you.

I wanted to say how extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised I was when dealing with your company yesterday. In the last few days, I've gotten several quotes on river rock to be delivered. Several companies were similarly priced, but you had the best price. After hearing your price, I decided to go with you guys. I figured it would take a few days to get it delivered, but you said you could do it in a few hours, when I said that it needed to be later, you took my number and had your scheduling guy call me. I started to think that maybe the price was too good to be true and maybe it was going to be a hassle. This couldn't have been further from the truth, the scheduling guy called me back shortly and was very easy to work with and explained the process very well. Then it came to the delivery. The delivery driver called me to make sure he knew how to get to my house (I live in a new neighborhood, so it's not in most GPS units yet) shortly before our scheduled time. I gave him the directions and told him my wife would be there. He was there perfectly on time and was GREAT, helping my wife. He grabbed a handful of the rock to make sure it was the color we wanted before paying for it and sticking us with rock that was not the color we hoped for. The color was perfect, so he worked with my wife to dump it in a convenient manner that worked great for us.



I don't often write to companies when things go so well, as I feel that's how business should be done. However, with such an exceptional experience doing business with you, I felt it necessary. I will be sure to pass along your information to anyone I know in need of your services.

I have worked with several different excavating companies on a large project on my property. I have had varying experiences with all of them. Storjohann Trucking really stood out from the rest. They foresaw things that would disappoint us and took steps to avoid those things. I could not foresee all of the things that might go wrong to police them all myself and it was great to have someone with more experience looking out for me. They kept in close contact with us making sure on a daily basis that we liked the job they were doing and were careful to ensure that they understood the instructions that we gave them. They let us know when they would and would not be working and stuck to it. They were polite, considerate and careful. They worked hard and got the job done fast. We felt they cared about pleasing us and doing a good job. They showed pride in their work. The rates they charged were reasonable. I noticed they were more careful than the other companies about ensuring the big equipment did not damage our property. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.
