First I have to say I am very afraid of dentist...and I happen to break a tooth off...I read all the reviews of South Hills Dental and decided to give them a call.
They saw me the day after my call. My
care was excellent and I will be back. That says a lot!

Just went in today without an appointment, was a bit of an emergency and I'm not a local. Everyone was wonderful, knowledgeable and my experience was top notch. I will definitely return if I'm in need while in the area. Top marks to everyone, was even able to squeeze semi truck into the parking lot.

From the moment I called for an appointment they were so nice and caring. I took my kids and myself there for check ups, as we just moved to Helena. I was so happy with Parrish who cleaned my teeth. The office ladies were the best, knowledgeable and kind! Then Dr. Maes... What a fantastic man. He checked my teeth THEN checked for lumps or unusual anything in my mouth and neck. That had NEVER happened before. anyway, we did great for our check ups and the staff was the best I'd ever been to, from here to the south to the east of the country. So glad I found them!!!!

I am very pleased and satisfied with my entire dental care at South Hills Dental. I always get in on time and care starts right away and continues without delays. All the work I have done by Dr. Maes has been very precise with excellent results. The Office Staff goes all out to help make appointment times work for me. Dr. Maes and Dr. Sealey are both very professional and personable. I enjoy the waiting room with the pretty aquariam and good coffee. I would recommend South Hills Dental to everyone wanting excellent dental care.

Dr Maes is great. Every time I have needed extensive dental care, Dr Maes cares enough to call me at home to see if I am ok. That small gesture of kindness means a lot to me. He is always warm and caring and makes me feel comfortable in his chair. I am glad he is my dentest

I have been going to see Dr. Maes for over 22 years and never once thought about going any place else. Dr. Maes and Dr. Sealey, along with their staff are the best. They take the time to get to know you "the person". They make you fell comfortable the minute you walk in the door. Everything is always nice and clean. When you go back to your little room there is always someone there with you asking how things are going, if you are having any problems. South Hills Dental is a great place to go if you need a great dentist.

I guess it is never a "great" thing that we need to go to the dentist, but at South Hills Dental it is always a great experience. The office is spotless and the office staff is courteous and friendly. Once in the chair Dr. Sealy and Dr. Maes are not only excellent dentists but they are gentle and timely. The assistants and the hygienist are excellent and gentle as they make patients comfortable. If you have to go to the dentist this is the place. If you just want to go to the dentist to take good care of your teeth, this is the place as well. The friendly treatment doesn't cover up deficiencies, it enhances the quality of what you will receive from everyone at South Hills Dental.

I have been truly blessed with Dr. Maes' expertise. I had a previous dentist here in Helena who saw none of my problems that were pre-existing and could have been detrimental to my overall health. Words can hardly express my graditude for this great establishment. Not only have I a wonderful Dentist now, but the staff has been so good to me. I try to tell other people in Helena how they have all saved me from some serious problems--if Dr. Maes had not corrected my few situations. In conclusion, I have told friends/family that my life has truly turned-around for the better and I am truly grateful.It is a great opportunity for me to express my feelings that I have had for almost 2 years. Thank you.

Avoid this dentist. Doesn't listen to patients at all, won't address problems they come in for, rather insists on hundreds dollars more for "research" before even fixing simple problems (such as chipped teeth). Seems to clearly try to get as much money as possible out of patients. Claims expensive treatments are needed, charges for them, but after a review by another experienced dentist, it was very clear this dentist did NOT provide the services that were charged for--services that were unneeded in the first place. Cannot or will not explain why he feels some things are required (most likely because they really are not needed), even after repeatedly being clearly asked about them. This dentist appears to be out for money and not much more. AVOID Dr. Maes. (Would give zero stars, but that's not an option, unfortunately.)
