Can't speak for the restaurant but the bar is fine. Good selection of ice cold beers, wines, and a decent selection of distilled spirits. The bar menu is value priced, the portions are large, and the taste is actually very good. What shines at the bar is the service. The staff is friendly and attentive. I can't say that of most places in Helena. Looking for a good bar, the Overald is as good as it gets in Helena.

Stopped in to meet a friend. My soup had a bone fragment in it. Then I bit into another bone fragment in my main course. The vegetables had like a dark residue on it. I told the manager on duty...she purchased my meal and informed me that they microwave the vegetables. Yikes!!!! I'll never eat here again.

For a drink and wings the Overland is ok. For a tasty meal with good service the Overland is not the place to go. Prime rib that has been microwaved, potatoes that have been sitting for long enough to taste stale, and shrimp scampi that has all of three medium-sized shrimp in it is what you can expect for food. As for service, plan on staying your entire evening there!

Things are changing at the overland.. the sign in front says back to basics. I stoped in after work and it was pleasant. i had a micro brew and a sirlion with a baked potato. im bad at writing reviews so i'll just say it made my day!
