From the opening of Brownridge Pediatrics in 1989, Drs. Seth and Earline Brownridge have emphasized providing quality care. The husband and wife team knew from the beginning that socioeconomic status can affect the care a patient receives. After finishing their training at a top ranked pediatric residency program, they vowed to bring the same high quality care to all patients they serve. However, their joint path did not start with the opening of the practice. The Brownridges’ love of medicine dates back to their pre-medical days in the biology department at Washington University. After graduating in 1978, Earline attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, while Seth completed his medical education at Washington University. The couple married in 1981 and served their residencies in pediatric medicine at St. Louis Children’s Hospital from 1982 to 1985. While on the brink of their medical career they began their family. They have three beautiful children.
