I have received multiple automated messages from Republic Services in the month of August 2015 indicating trash pickup would be delayed by one day but the next day comes along and my trash is not picked up. I have to call their "We Don't Care" Customer Support line and request immediate pickup. Can't blame the people who respond to the 800 call but, it's very clear that management for this company could care less about their customers.They know - in advance - that there will be a delay in your service but, they don't send out automated phone calls to inform you of this until the day of the delay. Why not send it out the evening BEFORE your scheduled pickup? Incompetence is why.My scheduled pickup is on a Friday. When they tell me pickup is delayed by one day, who is available to respond to customer calls on that rescheduled day (Saturday in my case)? No one! Customer Service is limited to Mon-Fri.The question - Why don't you meet your commitment of "Next Day" - begs for a response!They DON'T CARE!
