Best experience! I was rear-ended on the freeway while leaving work a few weeks ago, and the circumstances were so frustrating. The driver was using his mom's car and had no license. He called his mom, who came to the scene, and both of them pressured me to say that she was the one who hit me. Of course, I wasn't comfortable committing insurance fraud, so I told both insurance companies the truth. So her company proceeded to deny liability since the family refused to cooperate! Luckily, I have uninsured motorists insurance, but that didn't cover my doctor bills or deductible. And I needed my car fixed, as the back end was totally smashed. I went on Yelp and YP and chose SCR Automotive Collision because they have great reviews and are close by. Abraham, Cristina, Sam and his staff put me at ease immediately. As a woman, I've dealt with patronizing mechanics in the past, but no worries there! Everyone was respectful and efficient every step of the way. My initial insurance estimate was way under the actual damages, but SCR worked directly with them to resolve the issue, submitting photos and documenting the needed repairs. Such a relief, since the accident and insurance process had already taken up all my time and energy! And when I picked up my car, I was thoroughly impressed. The paint match was perfect, everything was like factory new, and the whole car was cleaned, vacuumed, and detailed. Gorgeous! The kind receptionist had already confirmed that my deductible was waived. Sam even comped the unrelated repair of my driver side mirror, since my medical bills wiped out our savings. I drove away as a loyal customer of my new mechanic shop! A+, highly recommended, will use again!
