The Small Business Development Center, hosted by the El Camino College Business Training Center, offers one-on-one consultation services. The center provides assistance with business expansion and loans. It also assists with research and employees issues. The Small Business Development Center additionally reviews contract agreements and marketing and business plans. The center has expertise in the areas of accounting, business structure, government contracting and cash flow analysis. In addition, it organizes low-cost counseling workshops. The Small Business Development Center publishes a monthly newsletter that provides updates on various events. The center serves start-up entrepreneurs and minority-, women- and veteran-owned small businesses.
