In 1946, after serving his country in WWII, Clarence Schnorenberg started working for Udell Koch as a flooring installer. Eight years later, in 1954, Clarence purchased Koch's Cash Store from Udell. Clarence was a talented flooring installer and a natural at business. In 1969 he moved the business, now named Schnorenbergs Floor Covering, to its current location. In 1980 Clarence incorporated the business with his sons Jim and Gerry and then in 1988 sold the rest of his stock to his sons. With Jim retiring in 2018, Gerry's son Matt Schnorenberg stepped into the roll of vice president and Gerry becoming president of the company.
