Located in Hartford, Conn., Montessori Magnet School offers traditional education for students from the age group of 3-12. It provides child care services for students participating in full-day programs. The school is one of the interdistrict schools in Connecticut and is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale. It includes multiage classrooms, integrated curriculum, and before and after school care programs for all students. Montessori Magnet School offers education from preschool through grade 6. Its academic curriculum provides classes in math, geography, geometry, science, history, foreign language and art. Additionally, the school provides art and music classes and violin lessons. It also offers computer and physical education classes. Montessori Magnet School is a division of Capital Region Education Council, which provides education from pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
