Batchelder Elementary School offers academic programs to more than 550 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Located in Hartford, Conn., he school conducts classes in art, computer science, English, language arts, family and consumer science, mathematics, music, science, social studies and world languages, as well as health, technology and physical education. Batchelder Elementary School also offers a special program for gifted and talented students. In addition, the school provides before- and after-school programs. Batchelder Elementary School has a library media center that provides access to a variety of resources and information to guide the educational process. The school is a part of Hartford Public Schools.
