Hartford Gyn Center has grown in the past twenty-five years, remaining true to our belief in reproductive freedom and in the provision of excellent medical care. Our dedicated physicians and support staff believe in providing compassionate care based on the principals of dignity, kindness, integrity and service. Our center adheres to the latest standards of care and is licensed by the State of Connecticut. We are members of the National Abortion Federation and the Abortion Care Network, which help set the standard for abortion care in the United States and around the world. We understand that quality care encompasses emotional and spiritual needs as well as physical. All of the physicians at Hartford Gyn Center are board certified and are on the medical staff of Hartford Hospital. Our Medical Director is a woman who is strongly committed to providing a full range of gynecological services. Our staff is dedicated to helping all patients, including those with special needs. Hartford Gyn Center has earned a reputation for exceptional service where safety is paramount. We can help you determine the safest possible course of treatment and will discuss all options available. For many women, accessing abortion care can be difficult ; we understand this and will use every resource available to help. We will try to accommodate your special needs, such as translation services, navigating insurance requirements, or requests based on cultural or religious values. We excel in the provision of second trimester pregnancy termination and will strive to provide or locate the help you need. The staff of Hartford Gyn Center is diverse and experienced. Our center provides free counseling and community outreach on issues of contraception, sexuality, teen pregnancy, pregnancy options and HIV/AIDS awareness.
