My dad brought it to me first. Then told me they were located around the corner from my house. I never knew. Heaven is my neighbor. The taste is utter bliss.

I had the pulled pork sandwich combo. I thought the meat was tender and the flavor was good (vinegar based - Eastern NC style sauce). I would have enjoyed it even more if the butts had been slow smoked with hickory or apple wood - instead of oven braised. But, these days you have to go to York County (Smokin' Joes) or Chesapeake (Wood Chicks) to find smoked meat in a small, independent BBQ joint. The combo meal comes with a choice of two sides. I went with the northern beans and collards. The sides are about as good as you will find this side of Heaven! It's obvious that these folks listened to their Grandma and learned how to cook! Delicious! Now, if we can just talk them into getting a smoker in the kitchen.

THEY HAVE THE BEST PORK BBQ IN HAMPTON. THEY ARE HUGE AND WORTH THE MONEY.
