My experience with Mr. Rooter was terrible! I contacted Mr. Rooter Plumbing to fix what I considered minor repairs, mostly leaky faucets. I was shocked when the plumber from Mr. Rooter told me that the bill would be $1,113.69. I was recently divorced and my former husband had done the repairs around our home and so I was unaccustomed to plumbers’ charges. Even though the estimate seemed really high, I had nothing to compare it with. The plumber told me that he would be working at my home most of the day doing the repairs. I was surprised that the repairs would take that long. He went out to get supplies and when he returned, he was at my home only about one hour doing the repairs. Once I talked to friends and realized that I had been grossly overcharged, I contacted the manager three times to express my displeasure. He was never available to take my calls and never returned my calls.
