Woolplay is dedicated to giving you the best possible tools and product to make your knitting experience a pleasure. To that end, we carry only quality yarns in primarily natural fibers. We support local craftspeople and promote their yarns and products whenever possible. Our shop is constantly changing as we replace old with new and our sample displays are always fresh and seasonal providing great inspiration and ideas. Nadine Shapiro, the owner, has owned two shops, the first doing business in Connecticut in the 1980s. Nadine has designed sweaters and has had patterns published for Jamieson yarn and has sold pattern stitch designs to clothing designers including Izod, Liz Claiborne and Ralph Lauren.
