As a single woman with a car, I've run into some problems with mechanics, so I'm nervous when going to a new place, but my car is getting up in years and I wanted to get a tune up, or do whatever needed doing. My friends recommended Aamco Transmissions so I brought it in and left it. Ben called later that day and told me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. That's all the proof I need that these are trustworthy people!!

This AAmco in Hackettstown, NJ is a sham. Marc sweet talks you in to believing your car is a piece of crap, and that he will 'take care of you'. Marc at the Hackettstown Aamco talked me into additional transmission repairs that were not cheap, basically put the fear in me that if i didn't go through with them my car would break down and cost even more money later on. The total bill came to $2,700! when i only needed about 1000 in repairs. He said he gave me a deal...bent over backwards for me...after getting my car back several different things were now wrong with my car that weren't there before. slipping out of reverse and park, lights on the dash, and who knows what else. Marc wouldn't event listen to what i found wrong with the car. How convenient. Never in my life have i ever been treated the way Marc at Aamco in Hackettestown, NJ did. As a woman, i feel Marc at the Hackettstown AAmco took unfair advantage of me. He acted irrational when i tried to reason with him. Out of no where
