McAlexander Crane Service was started in July of 2011 when Kevin McAlexander purchased Ashing Crane Service in Grinnell, IA. The business is still located in Grinnell and primarily serves Poweshiek, Tama, Jasper, and Marshall Counties. Our primary goal is to offer a safe and reliable service at a reasonable rate. We have two Grove hydraulic truck cranes that are ready to help you with your work, whether that is setting trusses, building or repairing grain storage systems, or other heavy lifting. We also have a variety of spreaders, slings, and other accessories available to assist you with your job.
