We have had dogs for over 40 years and needed to board them now and again. We found most places don't really care about your pet. Griffith Animal Hospital is the exception. Great care, looks out for your pets over all health and well being, and the best recomendation of all...............our little one pulls us in and wags her tail the whole time. Need we say more.

The vet on duty is very nice, but the techs and reception women are the rudest I've ever encountered. I went in to try to buy perscription food for my cat and I was completely ignored. I was the only customer in the clinic waiting room at the time and was standing at the front desk.The women working the desk made direct eye contact with me several times and absolutely would not acknowledge that I was waiting for help. I waited for over ten minutes and was never spoken to, as soon as other customers came in they sprang up and assited them. Needless to say I will never go back and have already purchased food from another vet office.

I just called today and the young lady that answered the phone was helpful and well informed of all the questions I had for my new puppy. They will be our Vet.

I have never been to any of the doctors at Griffith however,I was in recently to apply for a job and the staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean and expertly run. It is a beautiful hospital and by far the best in the region. This animal hospital is cleaner and better run then Highland Animal Hospital is. Everybody is alot more friendly then at Highland by far. If hired, I would be honored to work for such a fine hospital.Thank you for the hopeful possibility. Sincerely, Steven Hageman

I brought my mom's puppy in that without our knowing had parvo. She was in there for 5 days. She was only 8 months and didn't survive. I am just not sure if she would have made it if someone was there over the weekend. I am heart broken over her lose.

I have gone here for years off and on and have never had anything but fantastic service.The ladies behind the counter are really friendly, really helpful and seem to remember me and my pet when i get there. They always call back when I'm waiting for a test result promptly. I have see each vet at one time or another. Recently I have see Dr Sopko (I cant remember her name exactly.) and she is thorough and does not seem to be in a hurry like so many in the medical profession (human or animal.) I will continue to go there.Jamie is the best....

I was desperate! My Baby was in such pain and trying to whelp a puppy that wasn't there. I was in a horrible financial situation and even so, Dr. Amram spent hours with her trying to work with her to pass either a pup or placenta. Yes, I knew Dr. Amram but even if I had not known her she would have done this for anyone. She truly loves animals. She is professional and compassionate. No one has ever been rude in this office. I owe Dr. Amram for saving my dog's life. She would have passed if Dr. Amram did not have compassion on the situation that I was in. She took care of Bubble anyway!!

I have taken my dogsons to a few vets in the Griffith/Highland/Munster area, and I finally found my keepers. Drs. Sako and Amram are top-notch and very good at their game. I trust them completely with my dogsons' care. Not only are they very knowledgeable, they are compassionate and caring, and show so much love for the animals. They take their time and don't rush the appt. They make you feel your animal is just as important as the next and not like it's a production line, which is how I felt at a couple other local animal hospitals. This is a great comfort. Some of the staff can be kurt and rude, (the office manager is fantastic, though), but I don't let that get in the way of the doctors' abilities/care, as they are the key ones. I thank my neighbor who recommended them to me, or I may not have had the opportunity of finding my dogsons their forever vets.

I have never been treated rudly there ever. The vets are attentive, and the staff is so friendly. I have always enjoyed them and felt my dog gets great care. If you think their prices are high you need to get out some. Their prices are inline or better than other vets in the area. Health care isn't really the time to be shopping for a bargain.

This is the only place that could save my dog life, so grateful for that. And no they were not rude, just busy with other animals. Thanks Dr. Larson!

If you want to be fleeced, go to Griffith Animal Hospital. The staff is rude, their prices are outrageous, and I don't think they treated my dog particularly well. The office is small and no one acknowledged me when I walked through the front door. They stood around talking about Ebay and their recent purchases while another person talked on the phone. I guess with the amount they charge, they don't have to be nice or attentive.

They are very caring about your pets. They tell you the truth instead of trying to beat around the bush. They do everything they can to help your pet get well and yet are very honest about what the outcome could be. In our case our dog is fine...their prognosis was correct and he did pull through...We want to thank the Vets and caretakers of our dog...we will never forget what they did and recommend them to our friends with pets.

these people are gentle and treat the pets well.one complaint is that they well theres nothing!one good thing is that they stay open later for you most of the time!they do dog,cats,and BIRDS!choose them.
