I want everyone to be aware about how TERRIBLE the MANAGEMENT is at the DTC Colorado Athletic Club, and how conniving and discriminating this place is. My family has been loyal members of Colorado Athletic Club for well over twenty years. However, there is a policy stating that when your child turns 21, they will be taken off the parents' account and need to have their own membership. I completely respect and understand the policy. However, this policy is not strictly regulated. There are countless families with children well over 24 to even 30 years old that are still under their parents account at the gym, and the managers are well aware of that. However, they decided to pick out my brother and me trying to get us kicked off our parents' account. When I told my dad, he was furious for multiple reasons. The way Kathy WEED the manager handled it was SO unprofessional: she did not directly call my parents, the ones that pay the bills, explaining the situation; instead, she had one of her SALES ASSOCIATES call ME (the "child" on the account) letting us know we were going to be kicked off our parents account and to let my parents know. My dad then went into the gym to confront Kathy about her poor management skills. She then claimed that she had no idea this happened and acted like the victim since everything she initiated back fired in her face. My family and I felt picked on and discriminated in so many ways especially since we were one of the few minorities at the gym and were the only ones being spotlighted on. Therefore, we decided to quit the gym at the end of this month all together. The last week before our membership was going to end, one of the other sales accountant, Kenneth MOULAISON, was on duty for the weekend. He decided to build a stage in the middle of the basketball court for a Zumba party that was going to take place at night. Keep in mind that there is a routine where CAC members have a basketball game in the afternoon every weekend...so naturally, all the basketball players were very upset and complaining and showing their frustration towards Kenneth. However, when my dad made one comment "this is bs", Kenneth attacked my dad and threatened to call the cops on him, and then decided to call the cops to feel more authoritative. He then lied to the cops claiming that my dad was threatening him even though there were a good number of witnesses that saw that my dad DID NOTHING threatening to Kenneth in any way. With the cops, Kenneth felt even more powerful and decided to come harass my brother and I and kicked us out too for DOING NOTHING! He claimed my brother threatened him too when my brother made one simple comment saying "poor management". Then he came up to me while I was lifting weights with his hands on his hips and a pretentious attitude and asked "are you going to start trouble too???". I told him he was the one that initiated all the trouble...Apparently that is threatening to him too, so he had a cop escort my 100lb body out. The fact that we've been with the gym for so long, we have a lot of close connections and friendships at the gym. I know there are many furious families out there, and I would like to thank them for all standing up for us and deciding to leave the gym due to the discrimination inequality, and poor management.



And for those that are planning to join this gym, let me help you save some time and tell you that IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!!!!! I am still shocked an appalled by how they handled the situation. My family and I have never felt this disrespected and insulted. These people there are villainous, manipulating, devious, and untrustworthy..They will find ways to try to screw you over. Also, the women that work in their offices dress so unprofessionally. It is embarassing to have them represent CAC...ladies, it's an ATHLETIC club, NOT A NIGHT CLUB.

Great facilities. They provide you with all you need to have a great workout, which includes, fabulous machine that you never have to wait in line for, great class for all levels and workout preferences, beautiful locker rooms, that come occupied with shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, towels, lotion, hairspray, hairdryer, curlers, flat irons, deodorant, gel and even an iron. And, the staff is always friendly and willing to help.
