My son and I have been going to Dr. Gilmer for over 6 years. Before going to Dr. Gilmer I had struggled finding an optometrist that could fit me with an accurate and comfortable lens. After almost giving up thinking this is the best it gets Dr. Gilmer got it perfect on the first visit. As my vision changes Dr. Gilmer keeps me updated with the best prescription and latest improvements in lens.

I've had a great exam each time I have gone to see Dr. Gilmer. She is patient and makes sure you are happy with the contacts she gives you to try. I have been seeing her for about 4 years now and drive from Spartanburg to Greenville for the appointment each time.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. The fist appointment was an hour behind and when I told the receptionist that I had class an hour away she said "yeah you aren't going to make that"! Then a lady that came in after me was seen first. The Dr took like 5 minutes to check my eyes and gave me a pair of contacts to try. I was made an appointment 1 week later. Guess what? Not on time again.
