Founded in 1941, Greenville Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 500 students and offers classes from prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers instructions in a variety of subjects, including math, science and technology, social studies, language arts, English, health education, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. It provides various special education programs for students with special needs. The school also offers a wide variety of sports and extracurricular activities, such as chorus, hand bell choir, academic team, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, basketball, and extended school clubs. It has a fully equipped library and media center. Located in Greenville, Ky., Greenville Elementary School is a part of the Muhlenberg County School System.
