The owner of La Pizzeria in Great Neck is a Crook. Not only did we have horrible service but we ordered sushi and it didn't taste good. When we asked for it to be changed he said we cant change it since we already made it for you. That's really bad to not be able to change your food if you are not able to eat it. Our waitress was nice enough to change the roll when the boss walked away. When we received our bill we noticed that they included in our bill a 25% gratuity. On the menu it said 15% gratuity will be added to the bill. This is not legal to begin with. Gratuity cannot be added for you on a restaurants bill. When we called the boss over he said that they add 20%-25% gratuity for parties of 8 or more. The menu said 15% and now we are being told 20% to 25%. Never going to this place again. We paid $40 in gratuity for horrible food and service and our bill was $200 for pizza and sushi. We could have had a steak dinner for this price.
