Wow. I would like to start at the beginning. All consignments that I have ever sold, all have to agreed upon between the consigner and myself. All monies paid to the consigner is both agreed on by both parties involved and contacted in writing and signed by both and I have the paper work (contract on file). Signed for an agreed amount of $5000.00 to be paid in full at time of sale.

First, most of the time people try to sell there vehicle for to much monies, (there asking price). Then they find out they cant sell it. (CRAIGS LIST- wink wink). So they bring it to me to sell. Most of time there are problems with the selling vehicle. Most know it and they are just trying to get rind of it. So they bring it to me. Now I have to represent it and windup standing behind my sale of this vehicle as I do with all mine own that I sell.

Second, Advertising is my biggest cost on the big overhead list. To advertise one vehicle for 30 days runs about $210.00 per month most lots are buy far more!. And of coarse any business must make a profit to keep the door open, for a lack of words.

Third, a short class on sales, fair enough. Just for the record people will not or do not pay stick price on any vehicle on any lot. Buying a vehicle is "Capitalism in its rawest form". People don't look for why to buy it. They look for why not to buy it. Not really a good consignment! And as for a personal check..... "Yes" bring me all the personal checks as you can folks. No one is going to write a $5400.00 that is not good. 15 years taking checks and I have only had one $150.00 check go bad.

Forth, and as for to whom I sell vehicles to? Before any test drive I have in my hands a copy of there drivers license, name, address, and cell number on hand before they start the car on a test drive. And of coarse I know where they work.

I just found this posting today. I am absolutely shocked that I help everyone even these folks that called me a scum- bag? And a liar? Wow sick people I did not need a $500.00 hand out as they put it. A $6000.00 price tag $600.00 discount and it was sold. Net profit $400.00. Ha Ha.... get any lot to sell any truck for $400.00. Yes right, its not going to happen anywhere. I really think, just think. I have to defend myself, my business, my integrity. And in doing so I most ask myself, did I really help these folks (not scum's) but good people. The answer is yes I did. I help everyone that is what I am about. As for deplumation of character, and fairly strong slander. Some people are just not happy people at all!. I will meet them again. I will be able to tell them all the things I bought with the $400.00 dollars made minis advertising on the sale too. Rod Budell, The Auto Lot.
