What about the Romans? I have heard so much talk about the Jews and whether they crucified Christ, which especially became a topic of concern when the movie, The Passion of the Christ came out, because the Jews feared that people would persecute them for the death of Christ. B.Yet, the Romans are the ones who carried out the dastardly deed. Why is no one exonerating them? And who is the pope anyway to exonerate anyone? 3.When Things Are Gloomy: A."When the outlook is gloomy, try the uplook!" (Unknown). B."It has to be dark for the stars to appear" (Warren Wiersbe). 4.A Joke: A.The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady who had just married for the fourth time. The interviewer asked how it felt like to be marrying again at 80 and then about her new husband's occupation. B."He's a funeral director," she answered. C.He then asked about her other husbands and what they did for a living. She smiled and explained that she had married a banker in her early 20s, a circus ringmaster when in her 40s, and a preacher in her 60s. D.The astonished interviewer asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers. She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."
