I found this little treasure of a family restaurant, some 12 years ago, when i moved to Walker, Michigan. This is about a 40 minute ride north of Walker and a nice countryside ride up. You get there and the first thing that hits you is the giant water tower that was moved from further back towards the train tracks to it's present location. There is a cool Caboose in front, and lots of parking. The food, ahhh, the food. Fully all home made, Not a bad item on the list, I like the Train Wreck omelette, two scrambles with hash browns, onion, green pepper, cheese, and more items that will make you think you died and went to Heaven. They have great sandwiches, soups, and terrific chili. Ahhh, the chili, I"M NOT WORTHY!!!!! They have an on site baker who makes the best homemade bread and pies, ahhh, the pies.
