DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUNCH ! They dont maintain properties, you will be hit with all sorts of hidden fees, you WILL NOT get your deposit back when vacating, no matter how much you knocked yourself out to clean the place or verbal promises made. You cant contact anyone with a problem. After you give your 30 day notice, they just walk into your home with strangers when you are either at work or eating dinner to show it....with no advance notice. There are no prior or post walk thrus, that way you pay for the damage of the last tenant. Betty Boop at the front desk will tell you anything that she thinks you want to hear.How about the "PRODUCTION AREA" sign over the doorway leading to the secret back offices ? That's a tip off that they only want to screw you out of your hard earned cash. Research the online reviews and ask around about Caprock (or Platinum Properties). I would rather deal with a used car salesman than this slick talking bunch of crooks.

4 months and counting. good service and nice online features and they let me keep my dog. unit is ok. could have been cleaner, but not plaitnam's fault. far better than the last place I rented from. no complaints here.

Bottom shelf company - never again

This company uses deceitful marketing practices and is rather unpleasant to work with. Happy to have learned this prior to signing a lease with them. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. If not, you will learn to dislike them as I did. They do not return phone calls, do not maintain their properties, do not treat tenants fairly, do not do honest business. They are rude on the phone as well. All this and I paid rent every month on time. I'd hate to see the way they treat bad tenants. I put in only one service request (it was ignored till I fixed it myself). They changed the locks on my building without telling anyone. Then charged us for new keys. When I moved out they told me they would not return my security deposit for 2 months. When I asked them why it takes so long they said “because we can”. Go with a different company to lease from, these guys are really bad news.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. They stole my money. My husband and I were there in order to look at properties. We were told that it would cost $35.00 to look at their properties. We paid that amount. This company could not locate any of the three keys to the three homes that we selected and stated that they would call when they had them. We never received a call. We requested a refund, but our money has not been refunded and the manager is never available to take a call from us regarding this matter. We were told by two other mortgage companies in Grand Junction that this office is known for being CROOKS. I am contacting Small Claims and every city department including the Visitors Bureau to report this.

NEVER RENT FROM PLATINUM!!! My fiance and I rented from them and they charged hidden fees, lost money, and were rude beyond comprehension. They are only consirned with the money and the do NOT maintain the properties well. Our AC broke in 110 degree weather and they took 5 days to fixi it. The roof was leaking and they NEVER fixed that. When you call to talk to someone and leave a message, they never called us back, we had to nag their ears off. Please, do yourself a favor and never rent with or from them.
