We have been taking our dog to Stonington for about 10 years. Our dog absolutely loves going there. The grooming service is great, too! Carolyn always gives our little guy the best care! Highly recommend Stonington Kennels!!

We have boarded our dogs at Stonington for 5 years, and the dogs love it there. They are excited to go are even greeted at the door by name!



We are very happy with all the services Stonington provides and recommend them when asked (or even when not asked!). Carolyn and Annette are very friendly and knowledgeable and truly love animals. The kennels are clean and the dogs are in great shape when we pick them up.



We have used the grooming services and were very pleased with the quality of the grooming. The dogs get exercise and attention when they are there, and show no signs of anxiety when we drop them off or pick them up. We have no issues with leaving them at Stonington Kennels because we know they will be well taken care of--it's like leaving them with family!

Our family has been going to Stonington Kennels for 5 years now. We went to several other kennels to meet the owners and look at the kennels themselves and none even came close to Stonington. We feel very comfortable leaving our two dogs there and would highly recommend to anyone who has a dog or cat that needs to be boarded. Staff is very friendly and helpful and everything is very clean. Prices are very reasonable.

We have been boarding our pets at Stonington Kennels since 1981 and have always been pleased with how well they were treated.The staff always treated our pets as if they were their own pets. When we picked them up they were always clean. We always knew our beloved pets were safe and well cared for at Stonington Kennels.

I have been boarding my dogs at Stonington kennels for more than 25 years and have always been happy with how they treated our dogs. Our dogs definitely thought Stonington was their "home away from home". they are always very careful about keeping the dogs healthy and happy.

Terrible experience for my dog! First time boarded. I got yelled at for calling during NON working hours to see how my dog was doing. After that my calls were not answered. My son called once, he was told to call right back- when he did the machine was on. When I went to get my dog just 5 minutes past closing the owner would not release my dog. She had not answered any of my calls when I was attempting to call to let her know I would be only 5 min late. I ended up calling the police to get my dog released- the owner STILL would not release my dog. When I went to get my dog the following morning the minute they opened I found my dog in a small cage in the grooming room. I took her immidiately to my vet, she had a fever and was dehydrated.I found it very disturbing that the evening I had called the police to get my dog I found a message from Carolyn- the owner- telling me she wanted to be paid in cash. DON'T TAKE YOUR PET THERE! CAROLYN NEEDS TO QUIT! She has very poor people skills!
