My mother is currently at this facility and I have to say it's terrible. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. They can't keep track of medication they dispense: my mom was given meds by one nurse at 11:35 and at noon another nurse came in telling her it was time to take her meds. If my mom wasn't alert and oriented enough to know better she could have taken her narcotic pain meds twice in less than half an hour! These sorts of med mix-ups have happened several times in the past few days. They can't keep track of their patient's whereabouts either: after telling 4 people she was leaving for a doctors appointment that they had listed in her chart, my mom received a nasty phone call from a nurse 15 minutes after she left the building. The nurse YELLED at her and told her she wasn't supposed to leave the building, that she didn't have a doctor's appointment and that no one was informed that she was leaving. These are only 2 of the many many stories we can tell you about this place and she's only been there for 4 days. She's leaving tomorrow and won't be going back.



The nursing staff have been abysmal. The social worker woke her up on Sunday morning to say, "welcome! Sorry I missed you on Friday." Why on Earth would you wake someone up to say that? Instead of sending a welcoming message what she was actually saying was, "this is the time that is most convenient for me to come see you and it's my job to stop by so I'm going to wake you up so I can check this off my to-do list."



The physical therapy at the facility has been hit or miss. The first day a PT gave her a list of exercises to do without talking to her at all about her surgery, what she was feeling, how she was doing, what other pathology or co-morbidities she may have... nothing. Her second and third trips to therapy have been better with both these other therapists listening to her and taking note of her status and other confounding pathologies. But it is noteworthy that she has seen a different therapist on each visit.



Overall it's been a terrible experience and she's going home early. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for any reason!
