I've never been to a German restaurant before and my first experience was delightful. The food was delicious and the live entertainment was great. Lots of singing with guest often chiming in. Different than any other restaurant experience I've had. It did have a bit of a mess hall appearance that I didn't really care for but that will in no way stop me from going back.

SO-SO food, very expensive! and RUDE STAFF & OWNER!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there with a group of 15 (kids and adults) The bill came to $651.00 The restaurant was very crowded because of Octoberfest. As soon as the bill came (with tip added, of course) The hostess came and told us we need to leave now because they needed the table. Some of the members of the group had just gotten drinks (1 liter size beer!) We didn't get up right away because of the drinks. So than the owner comes and tells us again that we need to leave now! I understand the need for the table, but why allow us to get refills on $15 beer and then try to kick us out!

Our schnitzel was NOT FRESH. It was greasy and not crispy. The fried potatoes tasted like they had been sitting around for hours. The "German salad" was definitely not fresh and tasted like it had been made up two days earlier and sat in the frig. Our red cabbage was way overcooked.



Our Hispanic waiter was very unpleasant, and rushed us through the meal, and did not want to answer any of our questions.



When we complained about the meal, he rushed away. Several minutes later, the hostess came to our table and demanded to know what was wrong. We told her, and she too acted like she didn't want to hear what we were saying.



Then several minutes later, this big German guy came to the table claiming to be the chef/owner. When we told him our view of the food, all he did was get angry and argue with us. He then yanked our plates away and left our table.



We were charged for the whole meal, and this place isn't cheap, believe me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DUMP, and all I can say is that I have never been treated that poorly, or been that disappointed in the food, at any restaurant in a very, very long time !!!!

You know you are at the right place when you come through the door. Only a true german would have a display dedicated to the Bismark, a WW2 german battleship. Don't let the hispanic workers fool you, The owner has them well trained to give you the german food you want any time of the day. We had dinner at lunch. The only food that wasn't excellent was the apple strudel and I am spoiled because I lived in Germany and traveled in Austria for three years. Everything except for the strudel was cooked as it should. We had a type of schnitzel we never had before just because the variety was available. Yes, good german food takes time so don't expect to get it right away.

We have gone here several times, the food has been excellent every time, the service is wonderful, everyone there is friendly & welcoming. They have live german music some nights that was very entertaining. They have wonderful authentic cookoo clocks & other gifts that are unique. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great german restaurant with a family atmosphere.

I didn't think the food was very good at all. We went with a group of about 16 people and while the service was excellent, I didn't hear anyone say that their meal was actually good or better. Atmosphere is fun, though.
