We were driving north on Route 66 when we noticed the White Stone Café. The parking lot was full of cars and a huge touring bus. It was lunch time so we stopped in. The place is huge. Around 200 seating capacity and it were full of people. The hostess gave us a table in the big dining room. We looked at the menu it had a large variety of entrees, eggs, seafood, burgers and steak. We notice a huge buffet so we ask the waitress about it. She told us it was an all you can eat for just $7.00.

We gave it a try and it was delicious. There was so much food and so many choices.

The hot side of the buffet had 5 hot entrees, chicken picata, stuffed cabbage, corned beef & cabbage, boiled potato, beef stroganoff, ham & potato casserole, fresh summer mix vegetable, rice, mashed potato, pizza, & chili dogs.

The cold side had a huge salad bar with all the toppings & dressings, potato, macaroni, bean & pasta salads, puddings and more....

And there was a dessert table full of pies and cakes and there is also a soft ice cream machine with many toppings and syrups. We had a blast. If anybody leaves from this place hungry it is their own fault.

We plan to visit there again soon.
